ROBBINSDALE CRIME PREVENTION ASSOCIATION
BLOCK WATCHES are neighbors working together
to be alert and look out for each other. They
distribute crime prevention materials, educate
residents, and take action to deter crime. When
illegal or suspicious activity is occurring, neighbors
inform the police.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT is celebrated across the
United States on the first Tuesday in August. This
night shows the strength of citizen involvement in
crime prevention. On this night in August, block
clubs, apartment clubs, and other citizen groups
hold special events throughout the metropolitan
area.

The Robbinsdale Police Department issues a
Crime Alert when a crime pattern has been
noticed. Crime Alerts are intended to provide
residents with accurate information to increase the
chances for arrests and to prevent future crime.
In order to receive Crime Alerts soon after they
are issued, residents can subscribe to an Email
Crime Alert Bulletin system.
